A Finance and Banking professional with over 25 years of private banking, wealth management, commercial banking and corporate planning experience. ​Prior to joining EIB, he held various senior manager position in investment advisory, wealth management, and system project development with major banks such UOB, Citibank, DBS and CIMB with strong track records. ​He pioneered in fintech development on integrating banking system with enhancement in UIUX for greater productivity, and developed digitalized training tools for banking and wealth planning system. He possesses strong investment and banking knowledge in managing and growing high net worth clients’ portfolios. He was a Regional Wealth Trainer and has conducted training in Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea.
Ms. Michelle Tan Yen Phing

Michelle Tan Yen Phing is a dynamic legal professional and corporate leader with extensive experience in the legal, financial, and real estate sectors. As the Chief Operating Officer of Superior Land Sdn. Bhd., she oversees corporate strategy, legal compliance, and operational efficiency. With a keen focus on risk management, legal advisory, and business development, Michelle plays a pivotal role in driving organizational success. Before joining Superior Land, Michelle served as In-House Legal Counsel at Credit Suisse AG (Singapore), where she managed high-stakes documentation, compliance, and legal risk assessment across the Asia-Pacific and Americas regions. Her expertise in financial legal frameworks, positioned her as a key decision-maker in global banking operations. Her contributions led to the Compliance Consulting Award at the Singapore Business Review International Business Awards in 2017. Michelle is also a dedicated academic, having previously served as Head of the Land Law Department at Kaplan Higher Education Institute (Singapore) and as an Adjunct Lecturer at various institutions across Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Mr. Tan Su Hang

Mr. Tan Su Hang is a highly accomplished professional with over a decade of experience in banking and finance. He began his career in 2010 at a leading financial institution, where his exceptional performance and leadership skills earned him rapid promotions and recognition as a top-performing leader. In 2016, Mr. Tan took on a managerial role at one of the institution’s key branches, where he successfully led the Credit Department and supported overall branch operations. By 2019, he was entrusted with managing another major branch, where he oversaw a comprehensive portfolio of financial products and services, including loans, deposits, and general banking operations. His tenure was marked by consistent growth, operational excellence, and a commitment to delivering value to clients and stakeholders. Currently, Mr. Tan serves as the Deputy Group CEO of a private company, where he oversees daily operations, financial strategy, and organizational development. His expertise lies in financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership, which have driven transformative results throughout his career. As an Independent Non-Executive Director of Earth Investment Bank, Mr. Tan brings a wealth of industry knowledge, financial acumen, and strategic insight. Ms. Koh Wei Lee

Ms. Koh Wei Lee is a senior banker who has served more than 15 years in the banking industry, specialized in credit and risk management. She is the Chief Representative Officer of a British professional body, Association of Professional Managers and Entrepreneurs (UK). Prior to her appointment with EIB, she has served as a Team Head of Credit and Legal Unit in Wholesale Banking Division, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia. She was with Hong Leong Bank Northern Regional Mortgage Center as Customer & Credit Head. She completed her undergraduate degree, BBA (Hons) (Second Class Upper) in Finance and Multimedia Studies at Malaysia Multimedia University (MMU) and later completed her Master of Law (Banking & Financial Services Law) degree from SABI University. She holds a Professional Diploma in AML (Manchester University & International Compliance Association, UK), Advanced Certification in AMLCFT (International Compliance Association, UK) and the AICB Certified AML Professional qualification. She passed the Ministry of Justice’s Commissioner of Oaths Qualifying Examination and is also certified in Insurance and Unit Trust by the Malaysia Insurance Institute (MII) and Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) respectively. Wei Lee is professionally qualified and holds membership of Associate, Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (Associate AICB) and Fellow, Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs (FILS, UK).

Mr. Jack Lee

Jack Lee is a highly experienced investment professional with a decade of experience in the financial industry, showcasing expertise in a diverse range of asset classes. He began his career as a Futures & Commodities Dealer Representative, where he assisted clients with order execution and developed hedging strategies to manage risk across futures, commodities, and equities. Subsequently, he transitioned to the role of a Proprietary Day Trader, focusing on short-term trading opportunities within the Bursa Equity Market. Jack further broadened his skillset by working as a US stock analyst, responsible for analyzing financial reports and making significant contributions to the returns of his trading team. He later took charge of the Foreign Exchange & Digital Asset Operational Department, where he managed a portfolio encompassing 17 currencies and provided insightful market analysis reports. Additionally, Jack served as Compliance Manager, playing a key role in designing risk and compliance frameworks for a digital investment bank. Jack holds a Double Major Degree in Business Management and Finance from Keele University, UK.
Mr. Sim Yian Siang

Sim Yian Siang, born on 29th August 1977 in Kuching, is a distinguished Chartered Accountant with over two decades of experience in the fields of accounting, taxation, and auditing. He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) based in the United Kingdom since 2010. In addition, he holds membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 2006 and the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) since 2007. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Law from the University of London, completed in 2016, further solidifying his strong legal and accounting expertise. Sim Yian Siang’s career journey began as a Chartered Accountant in Gamuda Land, where he gained valuable industry experience in both accounting and financial management. In 2008, driven by a desire to provide specialized tax and accounting services, he founded Simtax Consultancy Sdn Bhd (Company Registration Number: 833699 H). The firm quickly earned a reputation as an approved tax agent, offering professional tax compliance and advisory services to individuals and businesses. Under his leadership, Simtax Consultancy built a diverse and loyal client base of over 2,000 companies, ranging from small enterprises to large corporations, which allowed him to gain a thorough understanding of various sectors. Sim Yian Siang’s career took another major step forward in 2021, when he obtained his audit license and established Sim & Associates (AF002427), an audit firm where he serves as the Managing Partner.
